The Evaluation of the FEMA P-695 Methodology for Quantification of Building Seismic Performance Factors report was produced under contract to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), by the NEHRP Consultants Joint Venture, a joint venture of ATC and the Consortium of Universities for Research in Earthquake Engineering (CUREE). (Published 2010, 268 pages)

ABSTRACT: The primary objective of this project is to beta test the methodology developed in the ATC-63 project that establishes a consistent and rational procedure for developing building system performance and response parameters (R, Cd, 0) for the linear design methods traditionally used in current building codes. Beta testing will be conducted on three structural systems: (a) special reinforced concrete shear walls; (b) special reinforced masonry shear walls; and (c) special steel concentrically braced frames.

This task has been completed and produced the NIST GCR 10-917-8 report which may be ordered here in hard (printed) copy format.
