Task Order 13-497 (ATC-114 Project), Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation for Performance-Based Seismic Engineering. This document is intended to provide practical guidance for nonlinear modeling and analysis specific to the design of reinforced concrete moment-resisting frames and their components. It is a companion to NIST GCR 17-17-917-46v1, Guidelines for Nonlinear Structural Analysis for Design of Buildings, Part I – General, that provides general guidance on nonlinear analysis that is applicable to several types of building structural systems. This task has been completed and produced the NIST GCR 17-917-46v3 report, Guidelines for Nonlinear Structural Analysis for Design of Buildings, Part IIb – Reinforced Concrete Moment Frames, which may be ordered here in hard (printed) copy format.
