The SAC-95-02 report,Interim Guidelines: Evaluation, Repair, Modification and Design of Welded Steel Moment-Frame Structures (FEMA 267), was funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Office of Emergency Services (OES) and produced by the SAC Joint Venture. (Published 1995, 215 pages, superseded by FEMA-350 to FEMA 353).
ABSTRACT: The report is directed to engineers and building officials and is concerned with reducing the risks associated with buildings damaged by the Northridge earthquake. The guidelines were developed by practicing engineers based on their judgment and experience, and a preliminary program of laboratory, field and analytical research.
