Prepared under the FEMA-funded ATC-66 Project, the FEMA P-774 Report has been written primarily for use by a non-technical audience, including government officials, building owners, and the general public. The document provides (1) information on the seismic performance of URM buildings, (2) guidance on developing a strategy for implementing a URM building risk reduction program, (3) examples of successful URM risk reduction programs, (4) information on how URM can be seismically retrofitted, and (5) other sources of relevant information.

Copies of the FEMA P-774 report can be obtained (1) free of charge from FEMA by calling 1-800-480-2520, or downloading the publications from the FEMA website, or (2) through the ATC on an expedited service basis.

Note: FEMA documents are available online free of charge.
