The ATC-20 Postearthquake Safety Evaluation of Buildings Training PowerPoint Presentation was developed by ATC. It was designed to replace the FEMA-funded 1993 version of the ATC-20-T Report, Postearthquake Safety Evaluation of Buildings Training Manual (that included 160 35-mm slides, with speakers notes). (Published 2002, 230 PowerPoint slides with speaker's notes)

ABSTRACT: This Training PowerPoint presentation is intended to facilitate the presentation of the contents of the ATC-20 and ATC-20-2 reports in a 4-hour training seminar. The presentation contains 230 slides of photographs, schematic drawings and textual information, with speakers notes. Topics covered include a posting system, evaluation procedures, structural basics, wood frame, masonry, concrete, and steel frame structures, nonstructural elements, geotechnical hazards, hazardous materials, and field safety. (Note: the presentation has not yet been updated to include information on the second edition of the ATC-20-1 Field Manual).
