This report is the third edition update of FEMA 155, which was originally developed by ATC for FEMA in 1988. This report documents the technical basis for the rapid visual screening procedure described in FEMA P-154, Rapid Visual Screening of Buildings for Potential Seismic Hazards: A Handbook.
